Small support teams that want every channel in one inbox usually watch the bill track headcount rather than volume. Crisp prices the workspace instead, at one flat monthly fee with the seats already in it.
Four plans are published, all billed per workspace: Free, Mini at $45, Essentials at $95 and Plus at $295 a month. Seats are included rather than sold, 2, 4, 10 and 20, and only Plus sells more, at $10 an agent. Conversations are unlimited on every tier. Hugo, the AI agent, is the metered part: $5, $25 and $75 of token-based credits a month, which Crisp estimates at 90, 450 and 1,350 automated conversations.
Those seat counts are ceilings. A fifth agent on Mini, or an eleventh on Essentials, means the next plan rather than another licence. The knowledge base, WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, phone, analytics and routing rules all start at $95. Contact CSV export starts there too, and conversations have no export in the app at all, only the REST API or a third-party tool. Crisp documents no SSO and no audit log, and says it "hasn't been over any SOC2 audit".
Chatwoot sells the same widget and omnichannel inbox at $19 per agent per month, so it passes Crisp's Mini at five agents. Re:amaze and Intercom both bill per seat, and Intercom adds $0.99 for each Fin resolution. Crisp is the only one of the four hosting every workspace in the EU by default. All four are live chat software.
