Pylon

Support and customer success run through shared Slack, Teams, Discord and email channels, with account records, a customer portal and warehouse sync, sold only through a demo call with no published price.

B2B software teams answer support where their customers already are, which is usually a shared Slack or Teams channel rather than a ticket portal. Pylon is built around that, with accounts, notebooks and tasks beside issues, call recordings from Gong, Grain and Fathom, and a Cursor connector that lets an agent search your source to answer technical questions.

Conversations arrive from Slack including Connect channels, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, phone, SMS, a chat widget, email and a customer portal. What it costs is not published. The pricing URL resolves to a form for a 30-minute demo. The terms count Authorized Users against an Order Form, so the model is seats, and they confirm that unpaid minimum commitment amounts fall due the moment a contract ends.

Pylon publishes no price, no seat minimum, no plan table and no rate for its five AI products. Outside sources quote $59 to $139 per seat and both a three-seat and a seven-seat minimum, which cannot all be true. HIPAA BAAs, security reviews and custom MSAs are Enterprise only. Support is 9am to 5pm Pacific on weekdays. Triggers and assignment rules have no API endpoint, so routing logic does not leave with you.

Plain publishes a Pylon importer, so a competitor documents the exit Pylon does not. Intercom prices AI at $0.99 per resolution in the open. Zendesk needs a support ticket before exports work at all; Pylon syncs to Snowflake or S3. Pylon and Plain both file under B2B support software.
