Front sells to teams who work out of shared addresses rather than a ticket queue: support, operations, inbound sales and account management on one surface. The constraint is the channel ceiling, not the headcount floor.
Seats are $25, $65 and $105 per month on Starter, Professional and Enterprise, all quoted at the annual rate behind a stated 24% discount. No monthly figure appears anywhere in the page. A one license minimum applies on Starter and Professional, so the floor is low. AI is not bundled: Autopilot is an add-on on every plan starting at $0.05 per conversation with no included allowance, and Copilot, Smart QA and Smart CSAT cost $20, $20 and $10 per seat on the two lower plans.
Starter carries a single channel type, so email or chat or SMS, never a combination. Seats cap at 10 there and 50 on Professional, so the eleventh seat costs $65 rather than $25. SSO and SCIM start at Professional. Front publishes no uptime percentage and no HIPAA position. Contracts cannot be downgraded mid-term, discounts expire at renewal, and onboarding from $10,000 is mandatory above $25K ARR. Exporting your data means opening a support ticket, and templates and tags are excluded from it.
Help Scout bills $0.75 per AI resolution against Front's $0.05 per conversation, a different unit rather than a cheaper one. Missive sells the same inbox shape with no metered agent. Teams needing SLAs and audit logs leave for Zendesk. All four are shared inbox software.
