Hiver sells to support teams whose work already runs through Gmail or Outlook and who will not move it into a separate ticket queue. It ships a Chrome extension that turns Gmail into a shared inbox, and Omni, a standalone app for everyone else.
Both carry one ladder, per user per month: Growth $25 billed annually or $35 monthly, Pro $55 or $65, Elite $85 or $95. Seats start at two and move in fives. AI agents sit on all three plans with no resolution charge, and no allowance, cap or overage rate is published. Voice is the only metered thing: a $30 add-on per voice seat with 1,000 pooled minutes, then $0.03 a minute.
Hiver in Gmail needs a Google account, so a Microsoft shop buys Omni or nothing. Growth stops at 10 users and 2 shared inboxes; the API starts at Pro, and SSO, HIPAA handling and custom roles at Elite. There is no free plan, only a 7 day trial. Every server sits in the United States. The self serve export returns XML covering conversation metadata, notes, templates, drafts and contacts; message bodies, automation rules and help centre articles are not on that list, and the privacy policy sets a 14 day deletion clock after termination rather than a retrieval window.
Front charges $0.05 a conversation on top of a $25 seat and Help Scout $0.75 a resolution; Hiver charges neither. Missive starts lower at $14. Filed under shared inbox software.
