Teams who already write everything in Notion and now need a public help centre, without moving the writing somewhere else. HelpKit points at a Notion page you own and serves it as a searchable site on your own domain.
Billing is per site per month, not per seat: $15, $31 or $79 at the annual rate the page shows by default, two months free for paying yearly. Monthly figures are not published. Caps stack on the site price: 25 articles and one author on Starter, 100 and three on Business, 1,000 articles, two languages and five authors on Professional. A second knowledge base is a second subscription. The AI chatbot is a flat $49 a month, metering nothing.
There is no inbox, no ticketing and no conversation object, so live chat means embedding a widget from Intercom, HubSpot or Crisp. SSO, audit logs and a public API are absent at every tier, and the terms rule out HIPAA use. HelpKit documents no export of its own because it never takes custody: articles stay in your Notion workspace, so your content is only as portable as Notion makes it. Analytics and reader feedback are HelpKit-side with no export path.
Document360 sales-gates its tier table where HelpKit publishes every number. Helpjuice and KnowledgeOwl hold the articles themselves rather than rendering someone else's editor, trading the Notion dependency for their own. All four sit in knowledge base software.
